Return and Exchange Policy
We put all the love and care in creating our products for you. These products are handcrafted in nature i.e, these patterns/designs are created by hand by local artisans and we reward them for their time and effort. That is why we have a NO RETURN policy.
We encourage our customers to check the size chart before they place their orders to avoid any size issues. While we understand that every body type is different and there might still be a size issue, we do allow for an exchange of the product.
Exchanges are applicable only in the following cases:
- if a wrong size has been ordered, on the same product within a period of 5 days from the date of delivery. The shipping cost has to be borne by the customer.
- if a wrong product/size has been sent than the one that was ordered. No shipping charges to be borne by the customer in this case.
*As we do not have our own delivery service we rely on delivery partners like DTDC, Delhivery, Blue Dart, eKart, etc
In case of an exchange; the Delivery partner charges us for reverse pickup from the customer location and then additional delivery charges for delivering new product again to the customer location, As these charges are two-way; we request our customers to pay for these charges i.e ₹200.

Please note that the exchanged product will only be sent after we have received the original order at our warehouse and the QC team has passed the quality check that it has not been used/washed/soiled/damaged.
It may take more than 15-20 working days for us to receive the return package and additional 2-3 working days to ship it back to the consumer/customer.
Please ensure all products sent back to us are in the original packaging with each product in its own transparent packaging that it came in. We are not liable for any damages that happen during the transit of the return order and we will not be able to refund any amount for the same.
In the interests of hygiene, we may refuse exchange items where it’s obvious that the item has been worn, washed or soiled. Defective products need not be sent back to us, unless confirmed by the Customer Experience Team.
If your exchange order is accepted, we’ll schedule a reverse pickup and once we receive the returned item and it is passed by the QC team, we will dispatch your exchange item within 2-3 business days of receiving the return item. If a reverse pickup facility is not available at your pincode, we request you to courier the item to our warehouse. The courier charges will have to be borne by the customer. Since the customer would have already paid for one way shipping in this case, the exchange charges for that order will be ₹100 instead of ₹200.
Damages and issues
We request our customers to create a video while opening the courier bag and inspect the order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned or exchanged like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
EXCHANGE – Terms and Conditions:
- Customer can exchange the order within 5 days from the date of delivery.
- We reserve the right not to accept return of products which
- (i) we believe are being returned after use, washed or soiled or
(ii) are damaged (except where the return is on account of damaged goods having been delivered to you).
- We will not arrange the reverse pickup of products, unless confirmed by the Customer Experience Team. If you have received a defective product, send us images at email@example.com or DM us on Instagram @lazyhippos.in and we will get back to you.
- Once confirmed by our customer experience team will arrange the reverse pickup Product/s within 7 days of receiving the request.
- Please ensure while returning the product the packaging is intact the way it was delivered.
- As we do not have our own delivery service we rely on delivery partners like DTDC, Delhivery, eKart, Blue Dart, etc

CONFIRMATION / CANCELLATION – Terms and Conditions:
- If you have placed a COD order our customer service team will call you for confirmation of the order to be shipped.
- Once an order is cancelled, It cannot be reverted. New order needs to be placed by the customer.
- Once the order is in processing status it cannot be cancelled.
- For changes in the order before it has been shipped,Please reach out to us on Instagram at the earliest and we will see if we can work it out for you.Changes in the order cannot be made once shipped.
